Quality Indian Stone Paving in Preston

We recently completed the second phase of a large Indian sandstone project for a customer in Longton, on the edge of Preston — bringing the total installation to over 120 square metres across both phases. The patio uses a mixed multi-tone sandstone, blending warm buff and rust shades with cooler grey and slate tones for a rich, varied finish that changes character throughout the day as the light moves across it.

As part of the project, we also built a curved natural stone retaining wall to frame the patio and raised planting beds, along with a contrasting brick paving border to define the edges cleanly against the surrounding gravel and planting. A dedicated path was also laid alongside the property, finished in the same stone to tie the whole space together from the side access right through to the main patio area.

It’s one of our largest and most detailed sandstone installations to date, combining paving, walling and edging work into a single cohesive garden transformation — a great example of the scale and quality of work our team delivers for homeowners across Preston.
